Library Skills on Video

Library and research skills are lifelong skills as the library provides all kinds of information for people of all ages. And now with inter-library loans almost any information is at your fingertips.  For adults looking for a job there is now an application in the GALE databases  that can help you write a resume as well as check out the businesses in Vermont and elsewhere.  Public libraries in Vermont have those GALE databases available free of cost.  There is so much more to explore within that database and other library resources.  And, of course, all those fiction books that can be borrowed add up to many hours of enjoyment!

The Gale databases present reliable information to library patrons.  How do you know if online information is reliable?  There is a great YouTube Video at this location which explains exactly how to vet your information: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J_qR5lpnXBE.

Students in other schools have made videos explaining different library skills and concepts.
They can be found on YouTube.  And, indeed, these few short videos stand out.
